In 1995 GRO Marketing’s founder Jay Hansen opened his first company before email, social media, and cell phones were mainstream and customer data was housed on antiquated reel-to-reel mainframes. Back then Jay helped companies connect on customer data, postal data, print, and direct marketing to drive customer retention, acquisition, and revenue growth.

For two decades Jay has helped some of our nation’s largest retailers like Burlington Coat Factory, smallest non-profit organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and diversified franchise companies like ACE Hardware maximize their budgets and their returns on direct marketing initiatives. He then continued the next ten years of his career working with publishing companies like Rodale, data companies like Acxiom, and Email Service providers like DataAxle to bring data, strategy, and digital marketing success to his customers.
